Running for Rare Diseases Fundraiser

20110418-IMG_6217

On April 21st I’ll be running the 2014 Boston Marathon as part of the Running For Rare Diseases Marathon team. This is my 2nd marathon, with the first ending at mile 25.5 in Kenmore Square. The team seeks to raise awareness of rare diseases and each runner is partnered with a patient. I am partnered with my niece Briana, who overcomes the challenges that come with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia. Read her story here.

While my goal is mainly around raising rare disease awareness, I have set a goal to raise $2000 for NORD.

Help me reach my goal by making a tax-deductible donation of ANY amount to the National Organization for Rare Diseases and I will email you choice of as many FREE photos of your athlete as you choose.

Can’t find photos of your athlete? Just send an Email with athlete’s name and team and I’ll find the photos (or promise to get one at next meet).
